Since being back in Melbourne we have continued working at a million miles per hour with Life Instyle which started just 2 days after we arrived home. It was wonderful being there in the beautiful old Royal Exhibition Building and we met lots of wonderful people including a lot of new stockists and the very creative businesses beside us including Maud ‘n Lill Organic Cotton Toys, Babushka Baby and Love Luck and Wonder.
We’ve still found a little time to seek out nature in art and design. I have just discovered this very cool work by Mona Hatoum called Hanging Garden (2008), 770 jute sacks filled with grass seeds. If only the out-of-control grass in my front garden could look as stylish!
